While the SB50 resale was solid, it was not to the horrific capacities of Super Bowl XLIX in Arizona.

​Consider a market correction in how the entire SB50 resale was played by resellers. Instead of having a massive spike shooting up both the wholesale and market median listing prices, SB50 had a steady hand in the marketplace. As the secondary ticketing industry has moved from a small offline industry to a multibillion-dollar one with dozens of official online marketplaces, real-time pricing and instant delivery, the Super Bowl has been a prime mover in that transition.

Pearl Jam will hit the road this spring and summer for a North American trek that is scheduled to play 22 dates. The first leg of the tour kicks off in April in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and will run until August 9 after back-to-back nights at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Other stops include two shows at New York City's Madison Square Garden, two performances at Boston's Fenway Park, and festival slots at both New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Bonnaroo Music + Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn.

​Tickets to see Pearl Jam go on sale to the general public Friday morning and tickets are expected to spike on the resale market, where price points are already high for the iconic Seattle-based band. Read more...

There’s really no way around it: Going to the Super Bowl costs a ton of money. And this year, the festivities have the potential to be the most expensive in the 50-year history of the event.

StubHub officials said Monday that the average price paid on its secondary ticketing site for the College Football Playoff National Championship presented by AT&T between Alabama and Clemson was $675.
