Responsibilities
Develop a plan for increasing test coverage in the existing codebase
Design testing strategies for new development to ensure requirements are met and issues are caught before they hit production
Help build out CI/CD pipelines to ensure tests exist and are run appropriately
Work with other team members to execute testing plan
Mentor team members to share your knowledge and experience
Influence the testing, development, and release processes with your own proven approach
Participate in sprint planning and estimation
What do you bring?
Proven experience as a test automation developer creating testing strategies for complex platforms
Excellent understanding of software testing and programming principles
Passion for efficient software development processes that solve more issues than they cause
Self-motivated, highly organized, and productive team player
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desire to learn new technologies and skills
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; agility in a high-paced work environment
Enthusiasm for sports and live events
Qualifications
BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
Experience with C# or comparable object-oriented programming language
Experience with testing frameworks like NUnit, xUnit, and MSTest
Experience writing integration test scripts for APIs and services
Excellent problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
CI/CD pipelines and processes
Sonar Qube or another tool for continuous code analysis
Writing and testing Docker containers
Microsoft Azure app services, function apps, service bus, etc.
